One of the benefits of living with a sense of gratitude is you block out many negative emotions. There is no room for being envious of others when you are grateful for all you have. Regret has no toehold in your mind when you are thankful for where you are in your life. Because you are not expending energy focusing on what you don’t have, gratitude opens up possibility for what may come into your life.
