gratitude: a 21-day exploration day fourteen

giving and receiving

Ever notice how drastic weather situations bond people? Just after the change of the clocks, we had frigid temperatures in Colorado for a week. It was a bit of a shock to the system, but created a good environment for gratitude, for coziness, for connection with others. I imagine this week in western New York, community support is at a high. I imagine neighbors checking on neighbors, kids playing at friend’s houses, sharing the excitement of no school. We all long for connection.
